12/8/09.
TrailReady Motorsports and the TNC Machine finished 2009 with a 4th
place finish in the Trick Truck class
at the Henderson Fabtech Desert Classic. 57 seconds seperated our
#18 Ford F150 from the 3rd place Wil Staats Mastercraft Jimco. We
had promised to "leave in all on the course" in a podium
effort before the race and Driver Tracy Rubio said afterwards that
he has never pushed the truck so hard. The effort was paying off as
we closed on the #42 but fell short when we got in the dust of a lapped
1 car for several minutes that got in between the two TT's. The TNC
prototype ran clean all day with no flats, stopping only one time
for fuel. Since TNC and TrailReady begin working together in the 09
Vegas to Reno, we've turned the corner with two finishes and shown
that this can be a top 5 TT on any given day. TrailReady and TNC ended
up 7th in points this year out of 24 competitors. Podium finishes
are in our sights for 2010. Special thanks to Tim Sanchez and Dirtnewz.
When our bumper lights didn't make it to Henderson he immediately
offered the same model light off his chase truck and saved our dust
filled night race. |

TR Motorsports battles adversity to cross the finish line 8th at Belik
Silver State 300. TR Racing and
the TNC Machine Team showed up at Mesquite NV just in time to register
for the SS300 after working nearly 48 hours straight to install, tune,
and test our brand new 800hp Ford Racing Engine, after damaging our
motor in the previous race. Because we missed qualifiing, we started
Saturdays race at the back of the Trick Truck and Class 1 cars group.
Larry Trim and Ken DeVault started the cross-country race and quickly
found themselves in the dust of the two buggies in front of them.
While the dust at speed made it hard to move through the field, the
rolling and winding roads took their toll on navigators as one after
the other experienced motion sickness. By the halfway point we had
overcome oil and water pump issues and Driver of Record Tracy Rubio
brought the Ford F150 accross the finish line 8th in class. While
it was a tough day, it was also our first finish of the year. This
new team continues to gel and we look forward to a strong finish in
Decembers Henderson Desert Classic.

8/22/09.
In the first race of a two year deal that will have TR Racing Wheels
as co-title sponsor of the #18 Trophy Truck,
this new team proved it's mettle by surprising some of the "rock
stars" of the sport by running with the leaders in this, the
longest desert race in the US. Tracy Rubio, owner of TNC Machine,
builder of the #18 TT, qualified the truck in 14th position of 20
starters in this class. Halfway through day 1 of the 3 day staged
event, he handed off a perfect truck to driver Larry Trim in 10th
position on the course. Larry, in his first Trophy Truck drive, held
off the Herbts truggy, while closing the gap on the G&R entry
of Ron Whitton, by following the G&R truck across the finish line
we were ahead of him on corrected time for day two. The young TNC
team quickly prepped the truck for day two. On Friday morning, Rubio
was 8th off the line in class and 15th overall in the 300 race-vehicle
field. By pit three, Rubio had the charging TT 5th on the course and
again, handed the truck over to Trim at race mile 560. When leader
BJ Baldwin dropped back with transmission trouble, TR Racing moved
up to 4th, behind leader Andy McMillin, the Herbts TT, and Rick Johnson.
Our day and race would end however, when a broken part in our Kincaid
Racing engine sidelined us at RM 691, only 8 miles from the finish
line of for day two. This effort is a testiment to the skills of TNC
truck design and fabrication, as well as the support of our partners,
BFGoodrich Tires, K&N Filters, Kincaid Racing Engines, Superior
Axle, King Shocks, Light Force Performance Lighting, and Ford Trucks.
We look forward to the Silver State 300, which kicks off on Sept.
24th in Mesquite, NV. |

pursuit of the best available 39" tire for a vehicle capible
of assualting almost any desert terrain at 80 miles per hour, while
requiring safety and handling on graded roads at 120, we turned to
the most proven desert tire in the history of the sport. The BFG Project
TA. Chosen by more Baja 1000 champions than all other tires combined.
Built for the toughest conditions on earth. Excellent off-road soft
